In 2018, I created a tangle which I called “Wavered” because it reminds me of waves. Imagine my delight one day when I fixed my eyes on the curtain (see above) in my room. It was like the pattern was right before my eyes everyday, yet it took me a particular day and moment to see that wavered repetitive pattern.

Here is how Wavered could be used as a tangle or a creative string. The other image shows the step-out.

About the Zentangle “string” – think of it as something like divisions on the tile or art paper, and in each division, a tangle (pattern) could be drawn.
