“In the beginning, God created …” This is what we read in Genesis 1. On the seventh day God “rested from all his work” ( Genesis 2:2). However, God did not stop creating. He remains actively involved in sustaining his creation. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. The moon rises in the evening and illuminates the dark of the night. The four seasons come and go in their time. Trees shed their leaves and grow new ones. And so on.

We are surrounded by evidence of the beauty of God’s creation. However, have you pause long enough to notice, to wonder, to savor, and to give praise and worship?
