Setting right our altars before miracles can happen.

16 July 2020 Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

This must be one of the best homilies I have heard.

This day was the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I thought he made a deep impact talking about how one must “repair” our desecrated altars (of our life, marriage, family, relationships, and more) so that miracles can happen. He analogized about the importance of setting the altar for the Holy Eucharist. Once the altar is set up, then can the miracle [of substantiation] takes place. 

Thank you, Fr. Mike. What you said has touched me deeply and I know I have to return to this wisdom often.
